How I first got into shooting: |
There was gang-related activity in my area (and my car had been broken into multiple times). I decided to take a pistol permit class. I enjoyed learning how to shoot a handgun, so my instructor introduced me to action shooting, which later led to my addiction. |
My preferred shooting style: |
I like being forced to move. The longer the stage, the higher the rount count, the better I do. |
Primary Sponsor(s): |

Why I like shooting USPSA matches: |
I have not found such a competitive, yet socially pleasing sport where people honestly root for their competitors. As someone who grew up as an introvert, USPSA has drastically improved my social skills over the last year. I'm still not one to suddenly walk up and strike a conversation with a stranger, but with this sport I have found that I am less likely to fly solo through a match (it's dang near impossible!). I'm also a geek, so if there is any activity that involves new gadgets, equipment, and potential upgrades, sign me up! |
What I would additionally like you to know about me: |
I'm the shooter with the hat cam on her head. My goal is simply to show folks that shooting does not simply involve static targets. I have gotten PMs and messages from people who realized just how fun action shooting could be after seeing my videos. Some show the clips to their wives and daughters in hopes of getting them to sign up. I may not be a top shooter, but that is not what drives me as much as having fun and showing others what USPSA is all about. |
My favorite USPSA event is: |
Double Tap Championships - it has a high round count, has virtually no standards, is all about runnin' and gunnin'. |
