How I first got into shooting:
When I was 46, I had a significant other who insisted I shoot. I was terrified of guns, but was coerced into shooting and haven't stopped since. I love shooting, because it is a continual learning experience. I've never gone to the range or a match without learning something about myself and shooting.

My primary goal is to go for accuracy, but in the heat of the moment, I sometimes forget.

In my eleven years of shooting, I've learned a tremendous amount about myself. Shooting and how one approaches shooting reflects in all areas of life. I focus on improving in some measure in each shooting event, trying to compete with my past performance and moving forward.
