My Website:
How I first got into shooting:
Our family has always been avid hunters, so I've been around guns my whole life. We started as a family to learn about the safety of the firearms that dad had in the house. We met some people who showed us the ropes of IPSC and I became hooked. Mark convinced me to start 3-gun in 2006, and much to my surprise I love it!
My preferred shooting
style:
I was told once to slow down and I'd shoot faster. So I'd say I am a speed demon working on my accuracy!
Primary Sponsor(s):
FNH USA, STI, Magtech, Safariland, Surefire & Leupold
My National finishes among the Top 8 Women:
USPSA Open Nationals - Top 8 Women - 1997, 1998, 1999
USPSA Limited Nationals - Top 8 Women - 1998, 2006
USPSA Mulit-Gun Nationals - Top 8 Women - 2006 Tactical Optics
My most prestigious titles are:
3-Time Area-2 Women's Limited Champion
Rocky Mountain 3-Gun Women's Tactical Optics Champion
2-Time Superstition 3-Gun Women's Tactical Optics Champion
Oregon State Women's Open Champion
Texas State Women's Limited Champion
Why I like shooting USPSA matches:
The friendships! You get to see your friends a couple times a year and have a great time. The stages are always different, but the camaraderie is always the same!
What I would additionally like you to know about me:
My overall goal is to bring more awareness to our sports. To help women and juniors alike to try something new. Without the continuing growth of our sport, we will not have it anymore. I am always willing to be there for competitiors to ask questions, get/give ideas, etc., just as the women of USPSA did for me when I started shooting!
My favorite USPSA event is:
As of today, Rocky Mountain 3-Gun. It works on all your skills, from all degrees.
Additional Comments:

This year I had the honor of being named the FIRST First-Place Open Lady at the Industry Masters!
