How I first got into shooting:
I started out as a Daddy's girl going to the range with him on weekends. I began with taping targets and picking up brass. It wasn't long before we were working as a father/daughter range officer team. When I was 14, I shot my first USPSA match and loved it.
My preferred shooting
style:
I like intricate stages with accuracy and find I do my best in those. I seem to thrive on accuracy intense matches but love competing in the fast and furious stuff too.

Why I like shooting USPSA matches:
Two reasons: the people and the competition. The people in the sport are really top notch. I have made so many lifelong friends and shooters are just the best people! I also love how USPSA matches challenge me. The diversity of the courses of fire and how each stage always presents a new challenge keep me coming back for more.
What I would additionally like you to know about me:
I am so very lucky to have made a career out of what I love. Shooting has given me the opportunity to set goals for myself and achieve them. I can remember as a little girl watching the greats in our sport compete and I was inspired. As I took up competing, in the beginning it was all about winning, but later learned that each day I am on the range I uncover something new that makes me better. I've found that when you challenge yourself, win or lose, you make invaluable discoveries that only make you a better competitor, sportsman and person. I can only hope that I can pass my experiences on to my daughter so that she too will come to love shooting as much as I have.
My favorite USPSA event is:
I love them all. I know that's a sad answer, but there are so many great events out there!
Additional Comments:

I believe there is a shooting sport for everyone. As shooters, we all have the responsibility to help encourage people, especially women and juniors, to give shooting a try. I have to say that I feel one of my greatest accomplishments has been the opportunity to serve as a role model for others.
